Yld - Tree of existence

Yld is the tree of existence. All life comes from its roots and all worlds are held among it's blooms. Near the lowest branches being that of the Grawl, where lives lived are permitted to decay. There are rumored to be branches which have decayed to near completion and are withered to nothing. This is known as the Wither where all existence, life, kingdoms, matter, even gods who have fallen or died are left behind until the branches shrivel and fall into the void to be consumed by the Unseen. In the Wither, it is said that parasites whose scale rival the greatest mountains feast on the rot and final decays of matter, leaping from branch to branch as new rot sets in. Wyl is said to be among the mid-lower branches where the richest flows of life have had their time, but the branches remain strong. The higher, newer branches are filled with the waters of life from the roots and core of Yld.
